There is still a lot to understand about this aspect, but among the reasons we focus on the role of the innate and humoral immunity of young patients, with probably more restrictive and effective functions towards Covid-19 than adults. On closer inspection, in fact, the defense system of children responds quickly to infections with natural non-specific immunity and with the production of antibodies.
